worked at the Chan Brother's Travel Fair today for my couzzies. damn tired can. stood for the whole day. only sat for a few seconds. but i've got smth in return other than $$ =)
i've a polaroid photo taken with the 5 Korean Beauties!
they are in the traditional Korean costumes, similar to those featured in "Da Chang Jin". (they're using tat for publicity). they models are tall,pretty and all, and of course very Korean and oriental looking. but hey, they're not Koreans.
how i noe? cos as i was giving out flyers at the entrance, i noticed women with very thick make up and their black hair tied up tightly in a bun. moments later then i realised they're the models. some were speaking in English and even Chinese. A few with China accent. >.<>
as it was a polaroid, i wonder if my webcam can take a clear picture of it. the photographer's skills damn lousy la. though it's for free, but can you please take a beta picture mister? =.=
there's also geisha art. but i think it's kinda misleading. there're some people whom tink that Geishas are, in-short, 'prostitutes' or hostess. WRONG! they're very cultured people ok. their job is more of entertaining the rich WITH their SKILLS and appearing in programmes.
the Geisha's face is not painted white totally, but left a circumference not painted with the white substance instead. her Kimono was not a traditional one. it was not even those 1 piece one you see some Japanese in. it's short of a sleeve (it's a toga one), and short of a side of skirt. sexy yea. lol.
i wonder if the Geishas in Japan are like that now. i wonder...
and what did she perform? she did perform her elegant 'dance', but other than that it's the 'artist' who's performing, drawing and painting on her. and oh, not to forget the uncles who are bz snapping away by the tall stage, up at the Geisha. =.=
Japanese arent really bad (not tat anybody or i said that dey were bad). but because of the Japanese Occupation in Singapore, many people, mainly the eldely. but serious, i find Japanese really nice. much much beta than some CHeenas.
todae i met 2 Japanese during lunch. i went to Burger King for lunch, and the whole place was crowded as in Burger King's gonna close down tml ( it wun be). lol. the only place available was beside this ger who's sitting alone and sneezing away.
i carried my tray towards her and ask if it was occupied in English. she nodded her head and pointed to the seat, smiling. *cute la!* after that her fren arrived with food, and it was later then i realised that they're Japanese. i kinda eavesdropped on their conversation, understanding a bit here and there. lol. they're talking bout the chilli i guess. lol.
after that when they're done, they actually took the tray and dumped the rubbish in the bin! *gasp* you could hardly find anybody doing this anymore. not to mention foreigners. when the 1st ger kinda kicked my chair, i moved in for them to move out with greater ease. the ger whom i spoke to just now bent over and said thankyou and byebye. damn cute la!! =)
Japanese are nice. =) so far. lol.
during lunch, a guy whom looked a bit like Huai En (juz a bit) sat next to me. he also asked if anybody's occupying the seat. there are still polite ppl round. =)

i really pity those females who are born in Afganistan,India or those Middle Eastern Countries. they are NEVER treated like a human being. they are instead treated like a PROPERTY.

young girls at age 12 had their clitoris removed so that they cant feel any pleasure when they had sex. tis is to the MEN'S ADVANTAGE, staked with their health as they might die from excess bleeding or infection. the 'surgery' tools used in the process are just metal bits sharpened and needles which are NOT DISINFECTED. no anaesthetic was used either. so you can picture the young innocent girls screaming their lungs out, crying in horrible paint. it's excruciating. no kid.
the MEN thinks that they will be CLEAN this way, and that they will be a virgin without that urge to have sex. RUBBISH! a female can still remain virgin till she gets married with her clitoris intact can~ those men in the countries have got worms in their brain!!!
if u think these are horrible enough, there are much more to make your brows knit.
MEN are ALLOWED to KILL the WOMEN when they are RAPED. wad the fuck is tat?! the women are already HUMILATED and HURT, yet you want to inflict more harm on them by letting them die from the stones thrown at them or got shot down. and they call it HONOUR KILLING. *PUI*!
the MEN who raped them are onli sentenced to the maximum 6 mths of jail and they could hold their head high after they are released. the public sees them as HERO. well they're nuts. u try doing this in Singapore i guess you'll be nuts instead.

men can actually pour acid all over women when they (men) can't get them (women in most cases). a 45 year old man poured sulphuric acid all over a 10 year old ger when her cousin, another 13 year old ger refused marriage. her face was all disfigured. nobody wants to befriend her. but she's currently in a home or smth. she'll be back home soon. though i hope she nv goes back to those kindda home with such disgusting culture. =.=
my heart really goes out to them. i am really really glad that i'm born in a well developed Singapore, and not a brutal and cruel Middle Eastern country where wearing white socks can also be counted as SEDUCTION. then i've been SEDUCING the past 10 years man. =.=
a classmate of mine was so affected that she cried. poor her. haiz. the gers are juz so pitiful.
we should be FOR equality in women! strive for women rights in those countries!!

i hate cheenas. i do. i dunno what's ur definition of cheenas, but mine are Chin*-people. i call em 'Cheenas'. i'm not discriminating, nor am i racist. or countri-st. i have nth against china people. just that there are more of them who are irritating and unreasonable than those who are nice and friendly. serious.
let me give u some personal experience of mine.
- they cut ques during autograph sessions without feeling shameful
- they can squeeze and bump around during concerts and stuff without saying sorry
- they can hold their own concerts by singing out loud and ruining other ppl's fun
- they can put their bulky stuff on the bus' standing area and sit comfortably across the aisle.
- they can speak ill of US SINGAPOREANs while being surrounded by singaporeans on the bus or transit.
- they can be super cocky and ignorant
- they have no respect for us Singaporeans
i've much much more...
i juz cant stand em. those irritating ones.
but i've friends from Chin* as well but they're really nice and all. those ppl really ruin their reputation in Sg.
let's take the incident a few days ago for example.
2 aunties were sitting comfortably across the aisle with their folder bed or trolley and big red bucket at the standing area. they din bother to like put it close to em or stand with their belongings. the bus was packed. very. we're like packed sardines. they still left it there. did you noe tat the space it took up can let 2 more persons onto the bus?! =.= nvm.
when the bus moved or someone knocked into it, one of the auntie sweared when the trolley fell. she cursed the guy standing next to the piece of metal. i pity him. she even threaten to beat him up or smth if he 'kicked' her piece of metal again. =.=
nobody dared to stand near that metal again.
then they started to speak ill of us singaporeans. what's their problem?! then she caught me looking at her. she stared at me. i stared back. she diaoed me and began complaining to her kind tolerator whom din even bother bout her. i dun care wad u said bout me man. since u've already said so much bout us Singaporeans. a few more bout me doesn't really matter.
1 kinder auntie left and brought her red bucket with her. a girl sat down. the auntie (the evil one) glared at her and looked at her from head to toe. =.= then she began looking around the bus. (swakoo izzit~ nv see bus before ah?) then she saw some ppl looking at her then she stared and diaoed again. (siao de.)

tat's why i hate em (mostly).
other than cheenas,i tink foreign workers or PRs also like to talk about Singaporeans. Today i also overheard 2 Malaysians (can tell from their accent) talking bout Singaporeans. One of them had this perfect complexion and porcelain face. she was bz dabbing her face with a tissue for it was a warm day. to my horror she dropped the soiled tissue into the used tickets' box. wad a great thing to do man. did she noe tat tat was NOT a dustbin? i doubt so. she don't look as if she knew. =.=

I'm Back!
everybody's been prompting me to update and stuff.. sorry peeps! was sooooo bz with sch work and work that i barely had enough time to catch my beauty sleeep (sounds like a celeb huh).. lol.
it's coming to the end of the semester soon, and we're going off for a 6 weeks holiday (6 week rite?). it'll be work and slacking for me again. though i really hope to hop on my tkd attachment then and get it done asap. if not i can't get my official black belt and my cert!! >.< *argh* well and i hope to brush up my guitar and piano skills.. hmm, let's do up a holiday resolution!
the orders are not in preference:
- Work! $$$$$$
- Go for TKD trainings
- Practice piano
- Practice guitar (i nid a mentor!)
- Change blog skin (for evie as well)
- Get my hair cut (yea man!)
think that shud be all for the time being. lol.
having lessons at 1pm today. it's been sooooooo long since i can grab a 10 hour sleep man.. will be meeting evie for lunch. and i'm now thinking of what to eat le. kinda looking forward to our SOCPSY creative work presentation later. not that i wan to 'show off' my work , for it's nth big, but i would like to see what others have =)
going to see YiDA later. i juz realised yesterday nite that i did not start on his board at all! shucks man... oh wells, i can always conjure up one but i dun wan. lazy la . lol . no inspiration at all. maybe i can juz bring my frogie whiteboard (again) and hope that he doesn't recognise it as 183's and ignore me (again). lol. maybe i should think of what i should say to him..

What is it? It's ELEVATOR. lol. i came across this in a programme which teaches children English in the easy way. in hokkien it mean, "it will go down (descend), but will not fall". what a way to teach.
lol. yep. i'm talking about Lifts, aka Elevators.
i watched 王子变青蛙 and there was this scene whereby they were stuck in a lift. The pulley couldn't support the metal carriage and everything just went crashing down. And the scene got stuck with me.
When i got to the void deck of my block, i saw the "Maintainence in Progress" sign on one of the lifts. But no personnels are in sight, neither are the usual sight of tools all over the tiled floor. I hesitated a while before i stepped into the metal carriage.
However i frantically stepped out when i heard the bell go off for a second. After the mini shock i decided not to take tat particular lift. I pressed the button to beckon the other lift, but it juz wouldn't work for there is already one there, ready. I hesitated for quite some time, pushing the button again and again.
Finally i took a deep breath and stepped into the blue carriage, pressed the button carrying "17", and the one "><". The door closed and up the elevator went. But i could feel the lift shaking and the reels working noisily. The noises seemed to be louder than usual and the lift seemed to be shaking rather than the usual smooth ascend.
I did not sing and scream my lungs out for that's wad i usually do. Instead i stood rooted to the ground, listening intently and praying hard. I understand the peace and relieve that the victims felt when the feeling of the lift reaching the storey and the door opening. i hurried out without delay.
phew that was close. >.<
i was thinking wad should i do if i was really trapped in the lift.
first, scream. then, take calm down. maybe cry. retreat to one corner. press the bell continuously, while taking out my fone and calling my parents or the number on the certificate in the lift (if i can see). and wait for doom. er no. for help. lol..
we ought to be thankful that we're safe. =)

poor evie juz got caught for eating her barely eaten packet of Hello Panda. =.= i was eating as well, but she din see my food hence she din catch me.
nanny nanny poo poo, u tis old hag with saggy boobs... *makes a face*
she wasn't satisfied still. she reprimanded meiyi for viewing a show on her OWN LAPTOP. wad's her problem? jealous that she dun hav the latest Korean drama to watch ah? or gotta make patrols and cant eat her tiny low fat tea snacks so tat she wun grow super fast horizontaly? she still added that, "if one (you) watches show in the library then everybody would do so, then there wun be any seats available for ppl to study. the library is for ppl to study."
BULLSHIT!!
there are ppl gaming, watching shows (with or without earphones), blasting music.. why not stop them?! no wonder those guys would rather settle at the non-air con areas to game instead of the air-con library with comfy chairs. because of the old hag with saggy boobs.
tat day she caught meiyi with the food as well. yes, she was the one.
but meiyi had her earphones on! and she wasn't affecting nor disturbing anybody!! =.= she was soooooo angry that she wanted to find a place on the web that she can do some feedback. but hey tat director wasn't stupid k, though she's silly. there wasn't any email or feedback tat we can give..
evie was even worse. she got a "summon" for eating in the library. and guess wad? the old hag's the DIRECTOR of the LIBRARY. =.- i choked on my food when i saw that. and to add on, her handwriting sux. *whahahahahaha~!*

I slipped and fell on my way to lecture in the moring and skinned my knee, even with my thick jeans on. >.<
I spitted water and choked when drinking plain water from my bottle in the afternoon. Water streamed out from my noise, and it hurt till i teared. >.<

Chionged to Marina Bay to watch the Fireworks concert. i was greeted by a magnificent sight. Fireworks! They started to pop up in front of me. I've never seen fireworks at such a close distance (ever since the time i went to the National Stadium for the National Day preview)~ It was simply beautiful...
After catching up with 2 of my frens who darted across the road, wanting to catch a better glimpse of the fireworks, we made our way into the muddy and smelly concert area. Canvas covering the grounds reeked of a pungent smell (the whole place smelt like a dung hill >.<). Though we were outside the rock area, we managed to secure a barricade and relaxed ourselves till Mayday comes =)
They were the highlight of the whole concert (they always are). Emil Chau performed with them for a mo before they ended the concert with an encore track.
A piece of good news, MAYDAY'S HOLDING THIER CONCERT END OF THIS YEAR ON THE 10th OF DECEMBER!! =)

What a busy day for me. My schedule was lined up with project appointments, dance classes and most importantly, the concert.
i rushed over after my dance with Emelyn and met Meiyi and my Mom at Marina Bay. Many fans are already there and being the eve of National Day, many families appeared with mats (like picnic). Haha.. We settled down near the rear of the rock area (you really dun see much in front). Machi was the first group, pushing the atmosphere up, followed by Zhou Chong Qing, Guo Pin Chao, FIR, KOne and 183 club. (i hope i din miss anybody out =P)
Faye seems to be having problems with her voice. *Shrugs* i've heard her pitch trailing off quite a few times, and my mom agrees that she seemed breathless. Faye take care of ur voice yea? =)
Emelyn perked up at the sight of FIR =P
We've heard 5566's new song. Many people agreed that their new song sounded a bit like a New Year song. But Meiyi insisted that it'll sound much much nicer after subsequent listens. Well, fans. HAha..
I wasn't really ballistic when 183 came out (well my mom was there) =P. but me and meiyi went forward to catch a better glimpse of Mingdao. We could be seen moving from side to side as he moved and the camera man blocked him. lol. wad a sight...
Lex din go airport, neither did Jas and Lixin went to the hotel. So my letter's still with me =(. We made our way towards the back of the stage but did not managed to get close. Many fans were lurking around the vans, waiting for their dearest idols. Ramps were around, hence we conclude that the clean white vans are going into the muddy field to fetch the stars out. I pleaded my fren to help me pass my letter to him, for i wasn't going to let my effort go down the drain. I hope he gets it. =) thanx weilin n frens! =)
Mingdao, seems like we're not fated to meet now.. Perhaps we shall meet later when the time is much ripe-er k? =)

GEMs was founded on the 24th of June, hence the 24th of July was the 1 month anniversary!
Lol.. i din even realise it. till Friday, the 29th. We went out to catch movie, Red Candy at PS. Boy do i feel blessed! Having 2 gers running into m,y arms during the whole movie. Evie was cowering on my shoulder, while Meiyi's covering her whole face with her hands. Her specs are full of her fingerprints and stuff la! lol.. cute sia they. Meiyi said she'd rather watch Red Candy than Fantastic Four though both she and Evie dreaded horror movies. Me on the other hand don't find the movie scary AT ALL. lol..
We had taken neoprints, i'll try to upload asap. =)
I can't just bear the thought that if next year we'll be changing classes, we'll be separated. Not jus the 2 of them, but the whole class as well. Cos, we'll havta make frens all over again. The trust in all of us has to be built again. Haiz...
Friendship takes a lot of time to built up but could be thrashed within a short time.
Sad...
